Netflix and Vevo display problems

Hello friends, i have just bough a firetv2 and i am having some problems with Neflix (displays with a lot of artifacts) and vevo (does not display at all). See attached images for clarity on my problem. the rest of the apps i have tried so far work well. and in the case of netflix, once i pick a stream, it displays as it should, the problem is in the menu section
I'm on 5.0.5.1 with updates disabled and not rooted. i will root when i get a cable, and then i will install TWRP and the latest prerooted rom

any idea on what i could try? i already deinstalled netflix and reinstalled, changed the firetv resolution, rebooted firetv

Unlock Bootloader and DRM - Netflix / Amazon prime: still possible to view/download?

Hey guys!

Ive read that on LGs website that unlocking the phone will disable certain functions:

"When unlocking the bootloader, the DRM protection of your phone will become untrusted.
Some applications which require DRM protection may not work anymore or block certain functions due to this untrusted DRM.
Common examples are applications which offer download/streaming of paid multimedia content like music and movies."

Can someone tell me if theres a problem with netflix and amazon prime? Or is it still possible to view/download movies? If yes: Could it change? :confused:

Casting Netflix to a TV while still seeing video on the phone as well?

When I or my girl leave the main TV room to use the restroom or feed the dog, etc, is there a method or a 3rd party app that will allow the casted app (Netflix or HBOGo mostly) to still play on the phone while also casting to the TV? This would avoid having to pause the show we're watching. FWIW, screen mirroring from the Chromecast app while watching Netflix locally on the phone... is way too laggy to be a viable solution.

Netflix control on lockscreen

Hi. Bought mediatab m2 10" version and this tablet is awesome. I have problem with netflkx controls on lockscreen. Well there is not those controls. I gave permission to netflix to show notifications on everywhere, but they just don't appear on lockscreen. Spotify show controls to change track etc. Do somebody know how to get those controls to netflix ? Thanks in advance.

Netflix for ATV Modified Version to run on android tv box(Amlogic)

Hi there
i searched for hours but cant get a remote friendly netflix app to run on my android device. There are Some modded apps that run on other box like mine but on mine it gives me error aip-703 which i tried a million times to solve but no success yet. really hoping someone here can help me get it to work or modified another version for me. i have no experience in that area at all. i have a little knowledge but require someone to help me out so plz help me out here. i need a modified ATV Netflix App that runs without problem as i have no luck yet installing any. i am pretty confident someone here would be able to help.
