[ROOT] Whatsapp Trick: How to enable some hidden feature

Hello everyone,
I am writing to share a few tricks that I have found to enable the following functions in Whatsapp:
- Video calls
- Group's invite links
- Two steps authentication in Whatsapp Web.
First of all you need the latest version of WhatsApp Beta (for example, I use the 2.16.213) and a root explorer.
You have to open the root explorer and edit the file com.whatsapp_preferences.xml inside /data/data/com.whatsapp.
You need to add the followings lines inside <map></map>:

<boolean name="video_calling" value="true" />
<boolean name="two_factor_auth" value="true" />

Then save and force close Whatsapp from the list of applications on your phone and you are done: you unlockee the hidden features!
I hope this guide has been helpful, and I apologize for my bad English (I'm Italian).
PS: Currently you can only unlock the graphics of video calls, because the servers to which they connect are still down.

Hidden game: did you know?

I was bored sitting on the bowl looking through my settings. When I got to about I multiple tapped on Android version and seen the normal lollipop screen but Then for the heck of it I held my finger down on the lollipop 5 times and a game similar to flappy birds popped up. Never knew this and thought I'd share for those who also didn't. Have fun

Fire Stick Hidden - 711 Page (v 0.1)

I have a Fire Stick and basic remote. I "butt dialed" the remote by sitting on it. When I looked at my TV monitor there was a diagnostic screen I never saw before on the display. The diagnostic screen information was:

At the bottom were three buttons: [Reconnect] [Reboot] [More]

The [More] button brought up a new dialog window, with a spinner. After spinning for about 2 minutes the following displayed:

So I was wondering if someone could figure out what buttons on the remote cause these dialogs to display?

Maybe a developer using "strings" on some internal libraries tricks or other?

Whatsapp notification stuck in "hidden on status bar"

My problem is that whatsapp doesn't show notification on status bar but all settings are properly configureted in the Android sub menù

Only for understanding what i say:




I tried all, wipe cache included but nothings:
Settings are like other apps.

Hidden Apps, Settings and Features

I will be posting downloadable apks for hidden apps and also i will post an app that will open a menu to give access to hidden features, like making custome profiles. So stay tuned here and dont forget to give a Thanks.

Nexus 5 Hidden Menu

The service manual for the LG-D802 says that the Hidden Menu can be accessed by 3845#*802#. This is the menu that gives access to the hardware test menus. On my Nexus 5 (which is labelled on the motherboard as a D802) this does not work and all the variations that I have tried on this code using 821,800,980.801 and 821 instead of the 802 also do not work. I want access to the testing menu because of a no signal problem that has not responded to the usual measures and which I suspect is a problem with the U2004 RF Transceiver chip. Does anyone know the correct code to access these menus? The *#*#4636#*#* code works but does not give access to the hardware test features. After various firmware changes in an attempt to solve the problem the phone is back to stock 6.0.1 and is not rooted.
