F2FS on OnePlus 3?

I did this on my old nexus 5 and it worked great but is it still a good idea to do this for a modern phone? Has anyone actually done this? If so, can anyone provide performance benchmarks between ext4 (please indicate if you have disabled journaling) and F2FS? Are there any potential adverse effects to formatting the Data and Cache partitions as F2FS (I'd recommend leaving the system partition as Ext4 for stability reasons as it is supposed to be read only)?

Any additional information, thoughts, or comments?

Somebody please explain about F2FS

Hi, I've been reading that many of the new roms are supporting F2FS. Can somebody please give a brief explanation about it? What is the difference between F2FS and ext4? Which one is better? How to change the file system? Thanks in advance.:)

Stock kernel has F2FS built in! Possible to use it?

/proc/filesystems shows that the stock kernel of OOS has already the F2FS filesystem built in (by the way, also NTFS, which is useful for OTG...).

Now, the partitions are formatted with ext4... and F2FS has certain advantages (among them speed) over ext4...

So, would it be possible to format to F2FS in TWRP and then flash a stock ROM?

Convert a TWRP Backup Ext to a F2FS compatible Format (Android 5.1.1) ?

Hi,
I use a Stock 5.1.1 Android Rom on my S6 Edge LDU with some selfmade modifications (Debloat, Kernel Upgrades etc.).

Flashed a new Kernel (F2FS compatible) but my Rom seem's to be not compatible with F2FS because it get's always stuck on Boot Loop.

I tryed the following way:

I created a Flashable Zip -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2746044

And converted it to F2FS but i always get the Device not Compatible error -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t2840303/page2

Is there anyway to Convert my TWRP Backup to a F2FS compatible format ?

Thanks

Is any way to get f2fs on cache partition?

Hi, 6p users.
I am using my fast nexus 6p.
But I want to use more fast performance.
So I try to format cache partition but failed :crying:
So I search about this problem and I found cm13 jgcaap's build support formatting f2fs on cache partition.
But I want to use ota support rom.
Is there any rom support formatting f2fs on cache partition with ota?
Thanks. (and sorry about my bad English.)
