Is there any way to install the vendor image through TWRP?

As the title says, I want to flash and update the vendor image using TWRP on the Nexus 6P.

This would help when you don't have a C-to-A cable, or if the drivers aren't working on your PC.

Vendor files included with rom

So, I came over from a Nexus 5x. We had to flash vendor files desperately. My question is, with custom Roms is the vendor file included? I'm assuming it is as i can't seem to find the vendor file on its own.
