Textra double notification

Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to disable the stock messaging notification when using Textra? I keep getting double lock screen notifications and wanted to just have textra as my lock screen notification

Textra Twilight API not working

So I have Textra app installed and it has a feature to switch to night mode based on location. For some reason it is not working. I have checked with the developer but no fixes as of yet. Any ideas why this app will not lock location. All other location based app work.
