Hello. I have a micromax a57 running on android 2.3. My question is that can I install an app requiring a minimum of android 4.3 on my device. If yes how?? .I have a rooted phone. All custom roms available on xda arebased on stock rom 2.3. Please help

Micromax Canvas 4 major problem.
Folks,
My friend was using this phone for a long time and 1 day when the charging was around 20%, he connected the charger and had been using the mobile with Whatsapp and net also. Suddenly the phone was switched off and this was never ON again. But able to connect to PC, being recognised by SP Tools also and when trying to flash it, it give the error
BROM ERROR: S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE(5069)
What does this exactly mean, and is there any solution for this error and request the seniors to help me in this regard.

Micromax Nitro A311 Usb Problem
Hey friends i got a problem. I am using rom cm 12 r39 the latest version of cm 12 in which both sim data working and everything else is working just one problem i can't use my usb neither file transfer nor camera ptp...in the usb debugging menu there is always set to usb charging can't change the value(see ss)..and when i click usb computer connection it shows "usb is now disconnected" while plugged in usb the same message...please help me with the issue..

- Put the downloaded zip files on your SDCard
- Reboot in Recovery

- Format Data partition

I am not a very good developer..but I found a twrp for moto g 3rd gen by Osprey.I made some change on that recovery...and it worked...
Ok,let's explain....
1.download the recovery e483.far,extract it and rename it the IMG file to recovery.IMG..
2.Next download the fastboot.zip extract to any folder and cut the recovery to that folder..
Now,on keyboard press and hold shift+right click, select
'Open command window here'.
Power off your phone.Now press and hold Power+vol down until fastboot logo appears..
In the command window type
Fastboot erase recovery(press enter)
Then connect your phone to your PC via USB..then type
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.IMG(press enter)
When completed type
Fastboot boot recovery.IMG
Now twrp will boot.disconnect your phone from PC,swipe to allow(twrp) to modify system..
Then reboot..
Now download update superuser.zip(latest) from chanfire website and flash...

Hello friends it's mine first thread on XDA and today i am going to present you latest custom recoveries download links which are ported by me with hard work for micromax A093. Micromax A093 is mediatek(mt6582) device with 1.3 GHZ quad core processor and 512 MB RAM with 4 GB ROM Size with stock 4.4.2(kitkat) and kernel 3.4.67 there are different custom roms available for mt6582 like cyanogenmod 11/12/12.1/13 and other with best battery backup and perfomance but to port and flash this roms first you need to have latest custom recoveries installed on your phone like ctr(carliv touch recovery) 3.3 or twrp 3.0.2 or philz 6.59. Recovery mode not working for micromax e313
Recovery mode is not working for me. I tried Philz recovery, TWRP with mobileuncle after Kingorooting.
When i reboot to recovery mode it showing factory mode having some tests only. Please help me :eek:

Installation Instructions
- Download the ROM
- Download the Gapps from www.opengapps.org (Select ARM - 6.0 - Pico)
- Put the downloaded zip files on your SDCard
- Reboot in Recovery
- Wipe System, Cache, Dalvik Cache, Internal and Data Partition
- Format Data partition
- Go to Mount settings (untick on data, system, cache partition)
- Install CM13 zip file
- Immediately flash gapps after flashing ROM (do no reboot in between)
- Reboot system
- For A310 users, again reboot to recovery and flash A310 patch
