P9 Lite Future Firmware Updates

Will P9 lite get Android N and newer versions of android? Guys how long do u think it will get software updates?

Future z5c owner with a question

Hello all,

I've used a z5c for a short time a while ago and my experience with it was downright terrible. It was overheating, getting annoyingly warm while doing basic tasks, whenever I got under 15% there was an annoying red light in my face, there was an orange light always on in the night when it was charging, and then the screen shattered from the tiniest drop. The battery life was also poor, despite it being great on paper. Anyway,

Did the (marshmallow) system updates fix the terrible heating situation?
Is there a rom out there that fixes the heating issues?
Is it in anyway possible to disable those lights?

I'm planning on buying a new one (with tempered glass protectors) if these things are possible.

Android Nougat is coming to the M9 sometime in the "far" Future

Lets see if it comes faster to our Device then Marshmellow...after Google released it to the Manufactures.

And it comes as it seems just to three Devices. (A9,M9, HTC 10)

The Future of Android

The Future of Android is becoming uncertain; more and more news about android 7 being the last version of android is upsetting, then being named android Nougat... Clearly, something new is needed; xda has proven itself to be the epicenter of android development; so, it would be fitting that xda would carry on Android after google, proper voting of new features, control of an OS by the consumers, and others affected! The OS could be incredible; hence why a petition needs to be brought up, for a software that we have all been waiting for! A software made for all devices, full control! If you want simple customization abilities or the most advanced they've ever been! Features perhaps like: your own boot screen, your own selection of colours and designs for your home screen settings and notification panel and play store, write sd as internal to be seamless and open as possible: take an sd of your current phone's set up and make copies of it; media and all! Plus, being able to put it in any phone/tablet that has twrp/cwm and have your other device instantly! A universal limitless, fully compatible OS made by you, made by me, made by all of us! A new android, a new developer/consumer OS. Perhaps XDA OS or maybe Android X?! We'd all decide! What do you think? The future of tech is waiting.

{Q} Custom ROMS (AOSP/CM) for Galaxy A8 (SM-A800F)? Any possibility in Future??

Hello all

I was wondering if there will be AOSP/CM ROM for this device, not a single ROM is available and no dev is interested to work on such a great device. :(

Such a totally crap device, still stucked on 5.1.1 since launch, no dev is interested in the development either, where android n announced already, we are still waiting for Android M update, i wasted my money on such a **** device, will never buy a sammy mid range in future, m totally fed up with this :(
