I just bought an unlocked version from HTC. Out of the box I noticed that the network stops working after restarting or randomly, prompting another restart to fix it.
Also, the GPS seems to have problems locating properly. Navigation kept rerouting over and over on any given day.
Factory reset seems to have helped a little but I had an issue with the network this morning, which was fixed after restarting. GPS has issues in Pokemon GO now, which could be app specific but no navigation issues now.
Is this common for a brand new phone? Kinda disappointed.
