One spot on left side of screen non responding to touch.

So I started noticing a few days ago that the send button for text messages wasn't working with the keyboard up. Only when I dismissed the keyboard could I send a text message. Well it turns out that the same spot doesn't respond to touch when selecting or swiping on the home screen as well. I have tried using multiple launchers, and rebooting fixes for a short amount of time.

I am getting ready to Odin PF2 to hopefully fix this issue, and hopefully fix a few other issues I have with this phone. Like Facebook and YouTube tell me I have no network connection when I can do a speedtest just fine.

If anyone else has had these issues please leave a comment, or if you have another solution.

Thank you!

Picture of bootloader to spot a fake one

I need help!!!

Previously I have purchased S5 phones which were on lollipop. So when I used to boot them up by holding volume up+home+power button, the bootloader would show me information about model number and Knox warranty, knox kernel etc.

Today I went to buy an S5 which had MarshMallow. I booted up in odin mode, and the recovery looked very similar to TWRP. Also there was no mention of Knox anywhere.

Can someone post a picture of 6.0.1 odin mode (obviously removing sensitive information) so I can get an idea what I am looking for?

It would save me from buying a clone S5 :)

Red spot while processing picture

This may not be a problem, I'm just curious if anyone else have this.
When I have taken a picture, and go to the picture before it's finished processing, I see this red spot there.
It's gone when the picture is finished.
I guess as long as the finished result is good, it doesn't matter.
The thing is, I'm sure it wasn't like that before..
Anyone else noticed this red spot while processing?

twrp slider in dead spot

I have a nexus 5 with a dead spot in the middle of the screen which makes it difficult to use some apps.
I unlocked the bootloader. Next step is to install twrp so I can root it and use its functionality.
I went to the website and downloaded the latest twrp page and followed instructions and able to bring it up in recovery mode.
Problem is that the swipe does not work since it is the middle of my dead spot area. I can check the read only mode but I cannot do anything since a swipe is needed.
Any suggestions?
