Why are my navigation icons off-center vertically/cut-off on the bottom?

Recently purchased a Z3C and I noticed that the soft keys/navigation buttons are somewhat off-center compared to screenshots and videos I've seen of Z3Cs running Marshmallow. Is this normal?
