Playing With The Ugoos UT3+...

Been playing with the UT3+(2gb/16gb) for several months. Ugoos' latest released RK3288 firmware(ver. 3.0.7), addressed most of the issues related to HDMI Input-PIP-Record. If you know Ugoos' RK3288 Line of devices, you will be familiar with this box. The exception will be the HDMI Input and its operation, as it has features unique to the UT3+. Of course, it has all of Ugoos' goodies.
HDMI Input PIP and Recording work well, albeit with some caveats. Recording input is limited to 1080p@60FPS w/two-channel audio. The recording produced is fine visually, however, audio is mono(sounds OK for mono). It has both channels, but they are mixed mono. So I hope Ugoos can fix this. Also, when recording and monitoring the material you are recording, only one channel of a stereo pair on my AVR has sound.
HDCP input will not pass or record via HDMI Input. Though it is my understanding the Toshiba converter chip(358749XBG) that handles the HDMI Input/Conversion, can deal with HDCP.
In the recording dialog box, many options are shown. However, the only option that can be modified is the length of recording. The length options are 10 minutes or Auto.

A 45 minute recording @1080Px60fps w/mono audio is about 2.4GB, Input source needs to be one or two-channel audio, with the source's volume set between 50% and 80%, depending on the source video. If set too loud, digital distortion will occur. It is a good idea to test source volume prior to recording.
PIP is also available and works well.
