Way back when, I had a Nexus S. This is an image of a favorite boot animation that I used:
I have recreated the boot animation, and scaled it for the Nexus 6P (i.e., 1440x2560).
It would be appreciated if someone couple provide me with a proper attribute for the original creator.
Just copy the attachment to /system/media/bootanimation.zip. You should probably set permissions to 644 as well.
(Note: This is not a flashable image.)
