After a change in direction after looking at the complexity of putting out a new hardware device with it's own type of OS, Silk Labs has opened up their platform for developers to have a go.
The concept is simple, a OS for IOT which could run on many platforms.

My purpose in posting about this here on XDA Developers is in the hopes of bringing this technology into a brighter light. There is so much potential with it.
I see it as a chance to make something that has the potential to be maybe even like the automated voice controlled homes in so many films. Not to mention it is android based, which is a perfect fit for the family here at XDA.
