Thanks to my T-Mobile data plan, I just got a free Samsung Galaxy J7 that I plan to use as a backup phone. When I first got my Nexus 6, there was a program that let me transfer most of my apps and data from my Note 4 with NFC and Bluetooth I believe, but I can't remember what it was. I have my Nexus set to backup and reinstall Google apps, but when I logged into Google on the new phone, it just did Play Store updates to the existing preloaded apps.
I haven't put my SIM card in the J7 yet, just used WiFi. Is that the problem? I have read about Tap & Go and Samsung Smart Switch, but will they work for Nexus to Samsung? Any other ideas?
