I just purchased a Note 4 (N910F) on eBay from a user that stated it was due to an "upgrade" which I naively took to mean it was purchased from a carrier.
Upon further reading it turns out to be a clone/fake from comparing the front camera placement. This is really frustrating because the entire reason I bought a Samsung device was my previous phone was an MTK fake (not clone) with <5 minutes battery life and running a malware infected ROM!!
I want to ask, is this a fake or a clone? I wouldn't mind keeping it if the only difference is appearance and ROM, but if the hardware is fake like MTK devices are then the actual IMEI or chipset might be fake or missing hardware so flashing a new ROM may brick it. :S
When I get the device I will run CPU-Z and see what's under the hood.
