Hi I'm just new here and my previous phone was an iPhone so i'm not really good at doing advanced android stuff :) I bought a used Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910C) and the previous owner said if I would upgrade the phone I'd go to samsungmobile.com but when i opened the site It's just a bunch of marketing stuffs of Samsung. I tried the OTA update but I't didn't worked and screwed up my signal it only says "Emergency Calls Only" so i returned it to the guy i bought it from and he fixed it for free. It turns out that my phone is rooted and locked to the carried Smart (Philippines) and there was something used to unlock it that involves rooting it. I wanted to update my phone to marshmallow since 5.0.1 is so unstable :mad: but i don't want to screw it up again since i can't contact the guy again. Thanks :)
