Disable stock lock screen?

Hi guys. I hate that the stock lock screen doesnt seem to play ball with many apps so I've been using echo lockscreen instead. It works perfectly but occasionally I will have to go through echo and the stock option for a few hours then it goes back to just echo.

Anyone know how to disable the stock option completely? Is there an option to freeze something like we do with phone manager?
