I'm on LG G3, running rooted/stock Marshmallow on MetroPCS. I received a text yesterday from MetroPCS, telling me that I was approaching my 8GB limit for tethering on my hotspot.
Here's the thing, I have never activated my hotspot. I double checked my settings and it is turned off.
I went thru their customer service to no avail.
I called one of their stores, who reset my data for the month, but I notice that any data I now use still accumulates under my hotspot data (even though my hotspot is still turned off).
Lookout app says that I don't have any malware installed (for what it's worth). I've double-checked my APN settings. I do have a thing on my Access Point names, "EPDH MMS - tmus" that I did not notice before.
Any clues or hints how I can fix this or what is going on?
