I don't pretend to be a techie so please be patient with me.
My new Asus Flip Chromebook laptop is a terrific lightweight laptop with long battery life. About the only issue i have is that the power cord is topped by Asus' proprietary connector and ends with an electric wall socket plug. That means that any potential use of a portable battery with the Flip is ruled out unless you buy one with wall socket support (such as ChargeTech batteries). Has anyone tried modifying an Asus cord with a USB connector and used it to try and power up an Asus Flip with a mobile battery instead of depending on a wall plug-in? Would anyone out there like to try?
