I installed a pre-rooted ROM on my phone to enable root permissions and I downloaded a DPI changer to set DPI to a lower value and now, the phone just shows the notification bar and wallpaper. I have the backup build.prop file on my laptop but I keep on moving from problem to problem trying to push it into /system. I cannot remount the system to r/w. The commands 'ADB root' & 'ADB remount' don't work. As I try using other codes, I get errors like "Operation not permitted," "Permission Denied," "Read-Only File System," etc. I have CWM recovery and can mount but when trying to use the 'su' command in ADB Shell, It gives an error but when i boot the phone up normally, it works though I keep going in a loop trying to fix. I have tried flashing ROM again but still the same result. I was wondering if anyone could help or give me a flashable zip(if you have the same model).
NOTE: I'm not really sure that the app(s) I used affected the build.prop because it could be the app itself that I need to delete but I don't know how to uninstall. I installed two DPI changing apps where in one, "Le DPI CHANGER" I tried the regular method and it did not work saying that I could try editing build.prop manually but I persisted in getting another application "EASY DPI CHANGER" which claimed that if it didn't work, on reboot it would reset DPI but I'm stuck with a soft-bricked phone.
Help would be very much appreciated! :)
