Screen Calibration Help... N00b.

Hi.

I have an HTC Wildfire S that I am trying to revive.

It has a totally unresponsive screen and I am trying to load the CalibrateWildfireS files to fix it. It is running stock Android,

I have a formatted SD card to MS_DOS (on my Mac) and have copied the two files across in to the root (PG76DIAG.nbh and HTC_ANDROID-GOLD_CARD).

However when I boot using the volume down keep pressed I just get Security Fail! Update Fail!

I am new to this - although I have installed custom ROMs on other Androids in the past so I am not complete tech devoid.

My screen says.
