[Q] How to flash UL ROM in Sprint One

Hello everyone .
i have HTC sprint firmware & i want to flash UL firmware & receive OTA
i came by many FAQs , Posts & threads & ended up with even more confusion than i've already had

Phone details :
locked bootloader with stock recovery
S-off
Rooted
Stock firmware

-Do i have to change the MID to PN0710000 using commands in THIS THREAD and run UL RUU directly or what !!

and is it significant to follow upgrade sequence (e.g from 5 to 7 ) do i need to flash 6 or not ? i'm on 5.03.651.3
someone said you have to flash update xx.xxx.1 then xx.xxx.2 before upgrading to 7.xxx.xx :confused:

what is the correct steps to upgrade & to change to UL ?
