[Q] Flashing Boot.img Through TWRP

Does flashing boot.img from TWRP wipes Dalvik Cache

Yesterday I flashed a boot.img from Blur OS Marshmallow to Resurrection Remix Marshmallow but the OS didn't boot.
After RESTORING BOOT from backup, OS started to optimizing apps.
