I am noticing that some roms are requiring to have the latest firmware. Or a particular firmware.
What would be the best way of doing that? Should i just download and flash a RUU?
I can also update OTA as i am still stock right now. just unlocked bootloader and flashed twrp.
I currently am on lolipop and am reluctant to update. I know this usually makes things like s-off more difficult.
Not that i really need it to flash most roms.
I know that i could not s-off the newer versions of the one s. They changed the file you modify so it would re-read only itself on every boot. Cant remember the technical terms.
Any responses would help. thanks.
