PSA: As of 7/19/2016, the Amazon Prime G4 is NOT eligible for bootloader unlock.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but it may be helpful for those with this version of the phone to see this ASAP. As of yesterday, 7/19/2016, Motorola stopped giving out unlock keys for the Amazon Prime "with ads" edition of the Moto G4. Though they for a short time advised on their website to contact customer support at Amazon for a unlock key, Amazon does not provide this service and Motorola's support page now reflects this. If you obtained an unlock key prior to yesterday, it will obviously still work, so please keep it safe somewhere.

It is as of now unknown if the "Standard Non-Ad" edition sold on Amazon also falls under this restriction, though some research indicates it might still be unlockable. I will confirm this information once mine arrives in the mail.
