Just upgraded to Marshmallow 6.01 on my Moto Maxx PR. Hate/dislike immensely the new Motorola bootanimation. Hadn't saved my previous one. Spent hours trying to find the Motorola earth/globe bootanimation that I personally think is the most beautiful bootanimation EVER! Discovered it was created by a fellow named Scott Sonnenberg. He created it, ant Motorola used it first in the Moto X. Still had a hard time finding the proper .zip file. Finally found it, so wanted to post it here so it can be more easily found if anyone else feels like me!
Rename attached file to bootanimation.zip, place in \system\media after renaming the original to something else, give it the same permissions rw-r-r--, and reboot. Beauty is back.
