So I was helping a friend root and unlock his Verizon Note 4(non developer) and the process involved "tricking" the phone into thinking it was an actual developer edition. So I'm wondering, if there's a way to do something similar to the Verizon HTC 10, so that one wouldn't have to mail their device for root/unlock/s off. What do you guys think? I really want my phone rooted but I'm unable to do the mail in service which our developers are so kind to offer :/ please comment any thoughts!
