Install Remix Only on HP Pavilion g6 and says successful, but won't boot

So, following jide's instructions here, for a full install on an older HP pavillion g6, 64 bit, I do an INSTALL=2. It makes the partitions and does a full install. Says remix install complete OK at end. When I power on says no OS to boot. I looked at the partitions with gparted and it has three partitions, FAT 32 boot EFI, a 1GB with OS and rest with data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
