Well, my wife's phone (Alcatel Fierce One Touch) died yesterday, because the charge port up and conked out, and we really don't want to buy a new phone at this time, so I decided to root one of my older phones.
I recently rooted my kyocera hydro xtrm (US Cellular) so I can unlock it to use with Metro PCS.
I have the SIM/RUIM is Perso Locked message scrolling across the screen at each reboot.
Does anyone have insight as to what my next step to unlocking it is?
I am new to rooting phones, and I am hesitant to just dig through stuff, for fear of creating a paper weight.
