Htc Desire 512 removing unwanted apps

I'm a newbie to all this and just wanted to know if it's possible to remove pre-installed apps that came on phone after it has been rooted? If so, how can I do it. I have an inexpensive HTC Desire 512 4.4.2. Thnx for your time.
