1. That you have a Well Charged Battery, 60%-80% is better.


2. Back-Up all your important Contacts, Call Logs & Messages.It is highly recommended in case of any mishap or data loss to back up all your important data.


3. Back-Up your Mobiles EFS Data.


4. Check your device model, Go To Setting > About and Make sure that it is Unite 2 (hammerhead)


5. Do-not try it on Unite 3 :p


6. Enable USB Debugging Mode

How to Install:

• Download the zip from the above link & save it in your Internal memory. Or SD cared


• Switch off your device & Press Volume Up & Down buttons along with Power Button. (Don’t release the button)


• Use the Vol Buttons to move up & down. Use the Power Button to select Recovery Mode.


• Now, you’ll see the recovery screen.


• Select Install zip from Storage.


• Locate the downloaded zip file from the list & use the power button to select.


• Select Yes from the options.


• Now, just wait for few mins until its completely installed.


• Hurrah! You can successfully installed MIUI 8 ROM.

CWM/PhilZ Touch Recovery Users.

• First Choose ‘Wipe Cache’.


• Then Navigate to ‘advance’ and choose ‘Devlik Wipe Cache’ so you won’t get in any bootloop.


• Then Finally Choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset.


• Navigate to ‘Install zip from sd card’ another windows will open in front of you.


• Select ‘choose zip from sd card’ from the Options.


• Select the Android 4.4.2 MIUI V8.zip file and confirm the installation on next screen.


• Once the Installation is Over, Select +++++Go Back+++++.


• Select Reboot Now to Reboot the System.

TWRP Users.

• Tap on Wipe Button and Select Cache, System, Data.


• Swipe the Confirmation Slider.


• Go back to Main Menu and Tap Install Button.


• Locate the Android 4.4.2 MIUI V8 and Google Apps , Swipe the Slider To install it.


• Once the Installation is Over, you will promoted to Reboot System Now


• Select Reboot Now to Reboot the System.
