Definitely not a noob here, but I cannot flash anything without experiencing mounting issues in custom recovery. I assume this is the BML/MTD part. My Fascinate is just sitting around and I want to give it to a person who currently uses an ancient iPod Touch as his daily driver, yet I don't want it to be outdated in the android version, stuck with the need to press a dialpad combination in order to bypass the Verizon service activation on each boot.
Any help? I know this is an old phone, but it will make the person I'd like to give it to very happy.
