How to automate Aiplane Mode Toggle on a rooted Honor 6 with Android Marshmallow

Hi all,

I managed to install Android 6.0 (B810) on my Honor H60-L04 nad root it Yay! :D
However i cannot make apps for rooted phones like Tasker or llama work properly. They work patchily :(
I tried:
> adding SU app, Tasker, llama, Secure Settings to Protected apps
> adding exception for 'Ignore Optimisation' setting for these apps
> changed power plan of the phone from 'Smart' to 'Power'
> prayed to false gods :rolleyes:

None helped, i just want to make airplane mode turn on at 1AM and turn Off at 04AM every night, it now happens from time to time, mostly it doesnt.
Can you guys help me out - ideas for settings/other apps ??
