Hi all,
I recently got my Moto E 4G repaired (it suddenly and unexplainably quit on me - on my birthday nonetheless) and I sent it in for repairs.
I got it back two weeks later with a new motherboard.
This gave me the unique opportunity of updating it immediately to Marshmallow. I also set my (U1) SD card to 'internal memory' in the process (which I had neglected previously, causing me to struggle with storage problems).
Also, previously my phone was encrypted, and I didn't do that this time round.
I have the impression that both battery life and responsivity of the phone are a lot better, and I don't have any more unexplainable freezes (something which started on my phone after the previous upgrade to M)
In any case, I had become a bit frustrated with the E but now I love it again :) even though having it encrypted before made me feel a little 'safer'.
