So i had changeed my gt-I9300's resolution to a 480x800 so that i can play an old java game. But unfortunately i got a black screen (dropdown bar was still visible tough) and TouchWiz Home kept crashing and the revert-back-to-original failsafe crashed aswell. The weird thing is that the lockscreen worked properly and i could unlock my phone.
I was careless enough to not make a backup thinking that the failsafe would 100% work in case things went bad.
I had tried adb pulling the build.prop (the one in /system) file and checking if i can change the resolution there but all i found was the density setting which was set at the original 320dpi. I didn't find any other setting related with the resolution so i am wondering if there is anything i can try to fix my screen before i re-installed the ROM.
