I found an old Visual Land Prestige 7g in my sisters house. I was thinking of converting it into a remote control BUT now I would like to know if it would be possible to load it with a android 5 or 6 ROM and use it for games and movie viewing for my grandson. Yes pokemon go for him grrrr. Anyway, i have searched some days but there is no definite successful way on these forums to do this. I have tried several tools to root it to no avail (vroot, iroot, oneclickroot, seapod). I also read somewhere it is already rooted but the apps say otherwise. I would like to be pointed to the right direction, or if anyone has done it to explain, what tools i can use to do a recovery or a straight ROM flash to simply wipe the whole factory crap and obsolete system and load either a stock android version or a custom ROM version so the tablet is not so slow and laggy and becomes usable once again. This is what happens when one finds a piece of hardware and a freak like me wants to get the best out of it, its a compulsion. By teh way, i am not the most expert person but i can handle my own, just don't go into a very complex or advanced discussion on tablet or phone things to do. Thanks for any help.
