I work at Target and they recently took down the old Fitbit display. The monitor was touch screen running Android that was set to start up a Fitbit program when it booted up. I was able to spam the screen and get the Fitbit app to force close allowing me to navigate the Android OS. There was no bottom natation bar (home button, back button missing) but I was able to get into settings and do a factory reset.
Now I have Android tablet with wifi, SD card slot and a full USB port. It's running jelly bean but no gApps. No bottom navigation bar either.
I'd like to get this just running a clean stock room I or CM or something. I don't know how to get it into recovery mode though because there are no hardware buttons (just an on/off switch). Amy ideas?
I haven't got a full sized USB to USB cord yet to try to get into it with ADB but hope to try that soon. I can install apps though as long as they don't require gApps.
Thanks for any ideas.
