I have been looking for a custom ROM for the Pumpkin Head unit I have. I have found Malaysk's ROMs for MTCB 3188 devices but they seem to be for 4.4.4. I have 5.1.1. I would like to have a custom ROM for my device but if one isn't avaliable can I enable ROOT so I can install Ad Block Plus? I have tried the "*#hct#root#" command in the factory settings password block, it says ADP Root after i press enter but rootchecker shows that my device still isn't properly rooted. I also can not run the .apk file that I download from ABP's site. I have allowed unknown sources in the security menu. Any ideas?
