Can't delete dload, forces update cant get into twrp

I'm trying to get into TWRP but it forces an updated because I'm unable to delete the dload folder with the marshmallow update. I've tried clearing the data through settings but its still there...

I dont have access to root. I'm on the new marshmallow update (KIWI24) and when trying to delete the folder its read-only.
