I haven’t posted anything in a long time and have just been quietly reading for years as, my Rooted Verizon Galaxy Note III has been working perfectly. Add to that I generally don't have the talent to add much to the discussions going on around here.
However, I have finally F’ed up my phones al but DOA, after surviving many drops from 2-3 foot, 1 drop in to my pools beach entrance of 1 foot or so thus in water for 10 – 15 seconds (1 week ago), and add to that probably 30 pulse times getting ran over by my wheelchair…So let’s hear it for Sammy’s Note three!!!
After a lot of searching around I have pretty much convinced myself that she’s gone for good this time, what do you all think?

Note 3, Rooted, Safestrapped, Twrp, & jellybeans 7. I don’t recall all there versions.
It has been occasionally rebooting from rotation, the past few months.
Yesterday it was discharging faster than norm, and charging was so supper slow.
I was using it before bed and left it charging overnight, this morning it was dead and rebooting.
Symptoms:
When plugged in to the mains or my PC-USB it’s rebooting every 5-7 seconds.
When not plugged in it’s a brick, the buttons do nothing.
Been trying:
(I have to hold down the buttons as its rebooting for this.)
PWR+HOME+VOL Down Then Cancel = booting through the Custom + an unlocked padlock screen to the safe strap Recovery or Continue screen so, then:
Continue = reboot loops,
But Recovery = safestrap 3.75 Twrp 2.7.1.0. Battery: 100%.
So now I am in a fully working TWRP, Its stable I can pick up my phone move it around No Problem until I unplug the USB, then it dies. I then redo all of that and now if I wipe the dalvik & normal cache I can now reboot the System it takes a while as its “android is upgrading and Optimizing all 507 apps” dam that’s a lot right? While booting in it is still stable, but once in jellybeans 7 it says the battery is at 100%. New today it also says no Sim.
Yesterday while it was having a hard time charging, if I picked up my phone, or if I nudged it, it would reboots in to loops. I was able to get in to my games, or whatever so long as I had it immobilized on the table:
PWR+HOME+VOL Up = I get android system recovery: it’s stable and if I wipe the cache partition, then reboot system it boots up like above and then Jellybeans 7 reboots in to reboot loops.
PWR+HOME = booting through Custom + an unlocked padlock to safe straps Recovery or Continue screen, it boots and Jellybeans 7 and then the phone goes in to reboot loops.
I have new battery on its way but I’m not that hopeful, what would you sergest?
So what phone wound be your new one?
What provider would you switch to?
