I made a notification LED color testing app that as the name suggests, let's you test which colors are supported by your device's notification led.
I have tested it on my xiaomi Mi4i (android 5.0.2) and it works perfectly on it, but i see a lot of negative feedback on the reviews section of the app and its hard to fix the shortcomings in the app with little/unhelpful feedback.
If anyone is willing to help me make this app better by testing it on their devices, that would be really helpful, as i am working on another app that lets you use the led as a music visualizer without root.
All you have to do is clear all your notifications, make sure your phone isn't on charging, and run the app. Let me know if the app works or not on your device.

Possible bugs:
app may crash on samsung devices running android 6.0
