Any way to manage advanced permissions in OOS?

Is there a way we can manage advanced permissions in OOS? What I exactly want is to prevent WhatsApp from modifying my contacts. It shall be able to read my contacts but NOT alter them. In custom ROMs, we can select what's allowed and what's not in the sub-heading but OOS allows either complete access or complete denial to contacts. Is there any app which gives me custom ROM-like permission manager in OOS. TIA
