G3 dark corner of screen

Hi all

Yesterday my G3 brightness started flickering like the auto brightness was struggling. This just seemed to stop after a few minutes.

Then today the bottom right corner of the screen is slightly dimmer. This comes and goes.

Is this something i can try and fix or am i best sending it away (for the second time!) to repair?
